Colorado Public Television Makes Strategic Board of Directors Appointments

Denver (November 15, 2016) – Colorado Public Television (CPT12, PBS) has added four strategic board appointments to its Board of Directors, including cable television executive Kim Carver, former Denver Public Schools development director Christine Smith, digital marketing strategist, Jason Stout, and attorney now serving as executive director for the Colorado Department of Personnel and Administration in Governor Hickenlooper’s office, June Taylor.

Kim Carver brings extensive television and international expertise to CPT12 including experience at Altitude Sports and Entertainment and World Fishing Network, MountainWest Sports Network and ESPN Star Sports.

Christine Smith served as the Director of Community Partnerships for Denver Public Schools before launching Metropolis Enterprise Strategies, building revenue possibilities for municipalities and public entities through marketing partnerships.

Jason Stout is the Mobile Practice Director at Ciber and has extensive digital marketing, business strategy and business development expertise that includes HP Enterprise Services, TrueContext Corporation and building global business connections for local entrepreneurs.

June Taylor is an executive in Governor Hickenlooper’s administration serving as the Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Personnel & Administration (DPA) and State Personnel Director. Ms. Taylor has an extensive legal background that includes experience in multiple leadership roles for the Federal Communications Commission.

Carver, Smith, Stout and Taylor begin their three-year CPT12 board terms in December.
